ASEAN energy ministers pledge greater cooperation in energy security and sustainability
A PRESS conference took place in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday in connection with the ongoing 34th ASEAN Ministers of Energy Meeting (AMEM) and its related meetings.
The meeting agreed on the aspirational target to increase the component to renewable energy to 23 per cent by 2025 in ASEAN energy mix and reduce energy intensity by 20 per cent in 2020 based on the 2005 level.
